Aug 13: NAFTA and Rules of Origin
The North American Free Trade Agreement and its Rules of Origin remains an obstacle for companies to comply. If your company fills out a NAFTA Certificate for your cusotmers, you MUST attend this seminar to make sure you are doing it correctly! Are you constantly being hit with discrepancy fees? Did you know that you do not have to accept an issued LC? This seminar will teach you how to understand the components of LCs and how to comply and be paid! Bobby Uy, VP Global Trade Services and International Payments at Keybank will provide insight from the banking side and risk mitigation solutions. Laurie DeRoller, Executive Director of the IBC will go through an actual LC and how to read your LCs. UCP600 will also be discussed. Afterwards, join other IBC members for networking
