The Greater Rochester New York Region surpasses national education attainment levels: 84.4% of area residents have at least a high school diploma; College enrollment (18 to 24 year olds) is 10.4% higher than the U.S. average; 27.1% of area residents age 25 and older have at least a bachelor's degree. At 31.9%, there is a higher concentration among 25 to 35 year olds for attainment of a bachelor's degree or higher.
