On June 24, 2003, Charles W. Russell, Partner in the law firm of Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, LLP was elected Chairman of the Real Estate Section of the Monroe County Bar Association during the Section’s annual meeting. His areas of concentration include banking, corporate and real estate financing, commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, leasing, municipal law, and public authorities law. A graduate of Syracuse University (cum laude, 1989), Mr. Russell earned his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law (1995) with certificates in real estate financing and environmental law. Mr. Russell has experience in representing numerous lenders, developers, and corporations in such areas as commercial lending, borrowing, real estate development, and leasing. Prior to joining Boylan, Brown in 1997, Mr. Russell worked in commercial real estate with a major Manhattan law firm. Mr. Russell is a member of the Monroe County (Real Estate and Business Law Sections), New York State (Real Property Section) and American (Real Property and Municipal Law Sections) Bar Associations. He is also admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut.
