ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The International Business Council of Greater Rochester, NY (IBC), an affiliate of Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE), is hosting the Upstate NY Trade Conference September 27-28 at the Hyatt Regency downtown. The conference will provide seminars on the fundamentals of doing international trade and an exhibition of resources that are available for local companies to succeed in trade.
"In addition to learning about available resources, local companies will save a great deal of time and money by learning how to comply with the latest importing and exporting regulations," said IBC Executive Director Laurie DeRoller. "As one of the top five exporting regions per capita in the United States, and number one in New York State, Rochester is the perfect place to host this conference."
More than 30 international trade experts from around the country, including representatives from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); State Department; Customs Border and Protection (CBP); and United States Department of Commerce (USDOC), will speak at the event.
